The forestry sector has always been an important one for the Finance New Zealand team. We are heavily involved in organising funding for harvesting, log transport, and wood processing equipment. In recent times, we have also arranged funding for the purchase of forestry land and trees. As part of our support for the industry, a number of our regional teams have recently been involved as sponsors for the Southern North Island, Eastland and Southern (Otago/Southland) Wood Council awards, Top of the South awards (Nelson) and other regional events during the remainder of the year. These have been great events recognising the importance that forestry plays to each regional economy.
