The club has 31 members and has a passion to serve the community especially where the need is. Each year Starduz carries out activities for the benefit of those facing hardship. Year on year, the services provided by Starduz has had positive impact in the community.
Every four years, the club makes trips to Fiji where most of the members are from to carry out volunteer work. In February this year 20 members travelled to Fiji where they visited Ba Special School, Golden Age Home (Elderly Care home), Tressure House Orphanage and provided stationary, art and craft materials, sporting gear, IT equipment and various items. They also got on the tools at Satya Sai School – Drasa Lautoka where they painted and at Veiseisei Medical centre in Lautoka they also built a generator enclosure and two sheds.
It’s great to see a small organisation like this making a big difference on the ground across so many different organisations. To find out more about Starduz Sports Club follow them over on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/starduzsportsclub?mibextid=LQQJ4d
