On the 9th of November 2020, Finance New Zealand celebrated its five-year anniversary. Over this time, the team has grown from 8 to 35, and we have over 650 years of cumulative business and asset finance lending experience between us.
As of early December 2020, we had advised and successfully placed over $1.4BN of settled financing business, across close to 6,000 individual funding transactions.
Our business has succeeded by utilising our individual and cumulative business lending experience. It is also thriving because we work across a wide range of funding partner relationships to obtain a great outcome for both our clients and our funding partners.
We regularly survey our customer base after a settled transaction and are proud of a Net Promoter Score (“NPS”) that has consistently been over 90. The positive feedback within those surveys is weighted towards good quality service and making funding transactions easy for our client base, who are busy running their businesses.
During the last quarter of 2020, we have grown our team significantly and we are pleased to have welcomed five new Business Partners. We welcome Mike Fickling (Auckland), Ollie McGuigan (Hawkes Bay & East Coast), Angela Stockdale (Canterbury), Alan Taylor (Auckland) & Patrick Leask (Lower North Island), all of whom are experienced business and asset finance lenders and will add to the depth of expertise across our experienced team.
In addition, Don Morgan has transitioned from an internal role supporting our business with customer service and risk management to an Auckland based Business Partner.
We are also pleased to welcome onboard Caitlin Ashdown as an additional Sales & Business Associate who will support our Business Partner network. Caitlin is a 2019 Bachelor of Business Studies graduate of Massey University and has worked in a range of customer service roles.
We thank all our clients and partners for their support and look forward to working with you in 2021.
