Max Stuart

Prior to joining Finance New Zealand, Max worked as an accountant in business advisory services. He assisted clients with cash flow analysis, forecasting, budget preparation and overall fundamental accounting support and advice to ensure their businesses ran successfully.

With family and business connections in the Taupo region, Max splits his time between Auckland and areas of the Central North Island and Taranaki regions.

Max is a fully-qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Otago. In 2015 he spent time in London, taking a position at Deutsche Bank in their finance team before returning to New Zealand.

Here at Finance New Zealand, Max is a business partner working closely with his clients. He applies his accounting experience to provide solutions for clients’ overall financing requirements.

Max has a proactive approach to meeting his clients’ needs, and utilises Finance New Zealand’s extensive network of funding partners, where he can source almost any finance request.

Outside of work, Max is a keen sportsman with a passion for golf, tennis and surfing.
